The Home Rowing Machine…Suddenly Does Not Feel Like Home Equipment Anymore

By Ellen King Stanton

There sure seems to be a lot of attention on the home rowing machine these days.

And the fact of the matter is that most home exercise equipment has been sup par at best…until recently.

Remember the old stereotype of the horrible home rowing machine that was the bar attached to the old piston and the cheap slide? Well those days are completely gone because new how rowing machines are simply gorgeous.

And to back that up, not only are these new home rowing machines more and more realistic, they are also finally starting to come to earth in terms of price.

Which means that owning a new home rower has never made more sense.

About a million years ago, I rowed in college on a lake in Worcester MA.

And this was true rowing.

We would routinely get to the dock at 6am and then row until classes would start at 8am.

I say this only to point out that I do have a real rowing background and I know what real conditions are like.

The biggest issue with the older home rowing machines is that they felt completely unnatural and nothing like it feels on the real water.

But now the rowing machine manufacturers have made that their biggest priority and have built their newest machines to be as lifelike as possible…and I have to say…they are incredible.

From feeling the movement of the spokes on the wheel to possibly feeling the water spitting at you from the unit, there has been no touch left untouched.

There has never been a better time to look into getting a home rowing machine. There has never been a time when for this sport the planets have aligned this way and the prices have followed suit.

Sweat on one of these amazing new machines and you will see why there is no longer a reason for you to sit on the fence about getting one of these new home rowing machines. None at all.

There have actually been stunning advances with the home rowing machine. When you prepare yourself to buy a home rowing machine, do your homework!
