Because there are many possibilities out there, students should also consider non-traditional scholarships. Some programs that students should consider are ones that let them intern in their field. For instance, some HMOs, hospitals and healthcare groups provide payments for educational costs. If an individual is at a lower level in the medical field, they should contact their human resources department to determine if they have an education assist program.
