The use of adult stem cells for stopping sickness among our canine companions is typical nowadays. Veterinarian clinics have been performing stem cell renewal to deal with dogs ailing due to old age, arthritis or broken bones.

This removes the chance of rejection or the immune reactions against reimplanting these cells. In the embryonic stem cell, exogenous cells are utilized. They might provoke an immune reaction or response. That’s where the therapeutic cloning comes in.

Stem cells happen to be the topic of much controversy in recent years. Supporters of stem cell research promise successful therapies in the future. Opponents are concerned about the ethics of utilizing embryonic stem cells for research – such stem cells inherently require the destruction of human embryos.

Adult stem cells – which do not involve embryo destruction – are an alternative choice for research, and also have great possibility of successful therapies later on. It ma have started or popularly used in canine bodies, but there’s a future for humans receiving the same treating dogs.
