Help Your Relationship And Your Closest Succeed Finding Perpetual Happiness

By Pia Balling

Everybody wants to be happy, including yourself and your closest family and friends. As a parent or in a relationship you certainly normally would have a genuine wish to see your closest succeed and have an amazing and great life. Not only because you are a good person, but certainly also because their well-being affects your own daily life.

Those two areas of life – parenthood and being the one part of a relationship be it marriage or some other way – are extremely entangled; what happens in a parents relationship affect the child and what happens in the life of the child affects the parent and the relationship. The closeness does that everybody are exposed to both negative and positive situations or conflicts. The way these incidents are handled are imperative for the way it is possible to create daily happiness around you.

So you have to decide in which way you are prepared to handle these situations – especially if you until now have let the situations handle you!

Being a really good support for your closest and dearest can be difficult. When things go wrong it is so easy to look back and be wise. The art is to be wise in advance. Obstacles here are the wishes to see your own dreams and desires come through and exactly the way you think it should be. It is also easy making a perfect ego-trip when helping loved ones. The important thing here is to recognize what is important and possible for the person you are helping and also set some limits for how far in your help you want to go. Taking over is no help.

“It is always like this”, is a standard saying from the family when a close person needs help and advice.

This kind of one way “self help” does not create anything positive, certainly not a two way communication or a successful solution.

Actually the resolution process of family difficulties can often bring the family even closer together.

To help your dearest mobilize their amazing inner power and trust the process, is the best you can do to be a co-creator of wonderful results.

Like the horse that has a carrot on a string in front to keep running, think about what it is you specifically want to achieve. That is a great way to move mega steps forward.

When it comes down to the basics, all you in reality want is to be happy and for your dearest to be happy. Focus on that and you will find solutions come easier.

Having a good laugh during the process of finding positive solutions and supporting great abilities is the best help. Use the experiences you have from false moves and blunders.

Finding solutions is not only a boost for your experience, but it also makes you feel more accomplished and happy.

When I was in my teens everybody close to thirty or over were already OUT. I felt they had no idea about real life, and had just become more working ants before sure soon in the grave. That they could think that a teenager did not understand anything never occurred to me at that stage of life.

So the thing is, you often need to find solutions with somebody considering you a “Mars” person.

1: Find a language you both understand.

Live up to the standards you preach.

Listening to the one you want to help, being open minded and thinking before speaking are three good things to remember in this situation. it can be really hard not to let judgmental thoughts come out, but for a good result keep smiling.

It places demands on everybody.

It is so easy to be terribly judgmental about people. Maybe they are too young or you are too old. Maybe it is the way they dress, like too sloppy or too formal; it could be how they speak, like too classy snobbish or too flat; the list can go on and on. Conclusions made this way can easily be opinions and decisions based on “false evidence” and other people’s ideas. Ideas that in reality have nothing in common with the persons involved.

We all know that a good laugh is the best medicine to become happier. Being faithful to yourself when it comes to relationship and family is even more important and can be the best inspirational help you can give your dearest.
