Where Did Passion Go?

By Taiana Camarado_ | August 9, 2009

Have you ever wondered where that passion, that drive you once had in life, went to? Where in the world did it go? Once we had dreams and achievements of things that we have left behind. So what ever happened to them? It’s that toxin we know as Negative Thinking!

This affects us by discouraging us, making us negative losing all our hopes, settling for less than what we really could desire and deserve in life. When this happens we lose the ability to feel like we once did. Yes, as kids we felt GR-EA-T!

I recall there was a time in my life I felt madly in love with someone. We had such a strong connection in all ways. But then, for work purposes he moved away, and I was devastated. It really was the first time in my life where I felt everything made sense. Then, after he left, I felt my passion for life seep out of me. Day-by-day, it got worse.

I really did believe, from the bottom of my heart, that I was never going to meet someone like this again! Yes, sometimes things like this do happen. It might cause emotional pain in our lives. But, we must believe that there is hope in order to carry on, that there are good things waiting for us, and someone ever better waiting to be our Prince or Princess Charming. Much of the time, when we do suffer pain, we lose a little bit more of hope and passion for life. At the end a day of losing loving, were weak, less hope, faith and passion ” after all, we are only human.

One great solution for this feeling is to quickly recall something, instead that really feels good, like that first kiss, a great hug, or being loved by family and friends, your dog, cat, or ferret. You gotta remember the good in life, when something bad happens, better yet “remember the good in life, everyday! The ability to feel happy when a good looking guy smiles at you, the ability to smile when you’ve won a car in a contest, the ability to feel happy when at your baby takes its first steps, and the ability to laugh at a hysterical joke, and cry when you see an emotional scene in a chic flick. That’s a normal requirement for this course “the ability to feel. If you can feel” you can succeed, and if you cant feel at this moment think of things that make you feel good.

The more you can feel these positive and happy feelings, naturally ” on your own, the more youll feel happy, so you must feel them often.
