No Negative Thoughts Allowed! How To Stop Negative thoughts!
You grow to be what you think about! What are you thinking about??
Recently, my parents suggested I read a book named “The Little Book of Afformations” by Noah St James. In this book Noah talks concerning the effects that negative thoughts have on our lives and how to stop negative thoughts. Right now we are going to talk about this concept.
I want you to do a little exercise for me. I want you to think of 5 positive thoughts. Thoughts like: “I have a superb life.” “I have essentially the most remarkable loved ones inside the globe.” “My life is going just where I want it to go.” I Enjoy my life.” Now think about how those positive thoughts made you feel. Did you notice how your energy level seemed to go up? You felt a little more cheery. You felt grateful for all the fantastic things inside your life and you had been much more motivated by them, correct?
Now let’s do the same physical exercise, only this time modify those positive thoughts to negative thoughts. “I’m not excellent at something.” “I’m not pretty.” “My life sucks.” Did you discover a difference inside your attitude? Did you discover your attitude drop? All of a sudden you feel your energy level go down as well as your motivation lower. Instead of feeling grateful and blessed, you feel depressed and hopeless. There’s a huge distinction proper?
The way you think can have a profound impact on not merely your attitude but in addition on your life. That is why it is so essential to find out how to stop negative thoughts.
In Noah’s book he talks about the fact that what we focus on, will frequently manifest in our lives. Let’s use the instance of when you are getting a new automobile. You find a automobile which you like and that becomes your focal point… you can’t get it out of the head. And seemingly as a result that car begins popping up everywhere. All of a sudden it appears like everybody is driving one particular and you see 1 on each corner. So did every person go out and buy your dream automobile that day? Needless to say not! They’ve been there the whole time, you just in no way noticed them just before. But now that you’re focused on that auto you’re seeing it all more than town. So it would appear that what you focus on manifested inside your life, merely because you’re now focusing on it.
Have you ever noticed that in case you watch tv when you’re not feeling good you are likely to feel a little far better? Why is that? Did the flu just go away? Naturally not! You just weren’t focused on it anymore. So should you don’t want one thing controlling your life, quit thinking about it!!! If you walk around thinking “I can’t do something right” or “I suck at every thing I do” then your thoughts will automatically begin to think it. You’ll start to criticize everything you do. Then you’ll begin to doubt yourself and soon after a while you may truly begin to suck at every thing you do (a minimum of within your personal mind.) So again, what you thought about began to manifest inside your life. If you don’t stop Negative thoughts from getting a focal point inside your mind then those negative thoughts will continue to manifest within your life.
See how drastically thoughts can influence your life? Although Attitude actually isn’t everything and it won’t make your life ideal, it certainly helps and to stop negative thoughts could be the 1st step to changing your life for the greater! So stop letting negative thoughts tell you who you are and manage your life! Focus on the positive issues, the things that you are grateful for and because the saying goes: What you appreciate, appreciates!
This has been a brief overview of the many fantastic concepts that Noah talks about in his book. But I can’t do it justice. I completely suggest you read his book “The Little Book of Afformations!” by Noah full impact of his amazing teachings.
