I can’t believe this really happened – this woman saved her own life using her lipstick according to the headlie of this story I just read. Despite your age, you have to read this story about how this woman succeeded. It is worth every second spent reading it.

A 25 year-old woman in the middle of the week was visiting a bank ATM in her neighborhood. It was nighttime after bank hours, but she still had to withdraw money. She had no hesitation leaving her car because the area around the bank was extremely well lit, somewhat busy with cars driving by, and even a security guard posted outside the bank doors. “Eh,” she said, “I’ll be fine.”

As she walked to the ATM and began withdrawing money, she was poked in her side my a gun and told to keep quiet. The man with the gun was positioned around the corner from the ATM, and the security guard could not see what was going on. She turned the corner, and the man turned her around and started to blindfold her. She was so scared she couldn’t stop shaking.

He told her to hand over her belongings, unbutton her jeans, and keep her mouth shut. She had an inside pocket of her purse where she kept her lipstick – or so that’s what the attacker thought as she pulled it out. She quickly turned and pulled off the blindfolded and used her lipstick stun gun to cripple the attacker. He fell straight to the floor and she was able to get away.

She and the police returned to the scene to find the attacker still on the floor. She gave her statement and was surprised to hear an arresting officer say, “miss, what did you use on this guy? Make sure to keep it with you because it clearly works well.” She chuckled to herself and pulled out the lipstick gun to show the officers. When they saw what it was, they all said she was lucky to have it because it definitely saved her life. She is now at home and is safe.
