Review About The Osim Model UComfort Massage Chair Recliner

By Rita Aoki

I don’t know about you, but I’ve seen those massage chairs in the mall. Honestly, I’ve always wanted to go and try it. I’ve walked by many times, seen people with smiles on their faces and their eyes closed. Not bad for being in the middle of a public place. The other day I was passing by and saw one of those stores and it had an opening in one of the massage chairs. I knew then and there that this was my opportunity. I had to make my way and get in front of this kid who was b-lining to the same chair. I made my move into the Osim uComfort massage chair.

I made my move and was now in the chair. I realized that it didn’t operate through any telepathic thoughts. I scrambled around and found a remote control. Luckily it had lots of buttons making it easy to select one of the three automatic programs.

With the remote control in my hand, I selected one of the automatic full body massage programs. This started the recliner into action. I felt a bunch of different things happening across my whole body.

As the chair sprung into life, I could feel a lot of things happening to different parts of my body. My butt got squeezed. I felt movement going down my spine slowly. My lower legs were being compressed.

My back was covered with some sort of roller. This roller first started going all the way down my back and then back up. It did this all before starting to massage my back.

Before I started to get any massage on my back, I was feeling the air massage in my buttocks and calves. I have to admit I was surprised that I was touched in some of these places. However, I sat back and let it do its thing.

Next, the rollers in the back started to make some massage movements. The program started working my shoulders down to my lower back. Different massage movements like rapid tapping and soft kneading interchanged up and down my back.

As I’m sitting there, I just wasn’t quite satisfied. My legs didn’t feel comfortable and I thought that the chair could recline. I reached for the remote. My question had been answered.

I grabbed the remote and pushed on the down arrow for the chair back. It began to shoot backwards. As it shot backwards, my legs were still stationary. I was starting to have fun.

I was going backwards with the upper half of my body but the lower half was still in a 90 square. I re-examined the remote control and found the answer. I pushed the up button of the leg rest.

I soon bottomed out with the chair back recline and was fully level. My legs were still climbing ever upward. Of course, all this was occurring while getting my full body massage. This position was starting to become more comfortable.

I have to say that the lower part of the massage chair was more effective than the upper part of the chair. My legs were being squeezed firmly providing relief. The thighs and buttocks were being worked over. My back just wasn’t feeling it. I tried another of the full body programs.

With the next program in motion, I waited to feel the results. I waited. I switched to the third and last automatic program. Where was the penetration? This is the Osim uComfort massage chair. It was feeling all a bit superficial for my back.

I then realized that maybe the uComfort is not sufficiently strong enough for me. Upon this realization, I reached for the remote. I hit the off button and was immediately sent back upright. As the Osim uComfort massage chair returned to its reset position, I scoped out the next Osim massage chair to try on my left.
