Tips For Anyone Who Want To Take A Cruise And Want To Save Money

By Kenneth Stone

There are a lot of ways to save money for your next cruise other than getting online and searching for the best deal. If you are wise in your planning, then you can save a ton of money along the way and have a very enjoyable time on vacation while you embark on your cruise.

My first rule is that you should take things with you that you already own.

If the clothes you have in your closet at home look good on you now, then they will also look good when you wear them on the ship. Just because you are going on vacation doesn’t mean that you need to do some major fashion shopping before you leave. It makes better sense to take what you already have with you.

Since the only time anybody will be looking at you and your luggage is when you are going to the ship, or when you are leaving. Unless you need a suitcase because you don’t have one, stick with the one that you already own and resist the temptation to go to the store and get new stuff. It is completely unnecessary and a huge waste of money.

Spend on a budget and use cash instead of plastic.

You can avoid feeling bad after a vacation because you spent too much money by doing this. The best advice to get is to set a budget and decide how much money you will use on your cruise and begin saving for it now. This way you won’t go crazy with your credit card, and when you get home, you will be free from a huge bill that you are stuck with.

Don’t forget to bring a camera with a lot of memory on it.

Since you are going on a cruise, hopefully to some interesting and exotic places, you better take your camera with you. Just remember to make sure that it has enough memory. If not, get a card before you go because they will cost a lot more if you buy it on the ship or a port of call. This way you can save that money and use it on a nice souvenir.

These are just a couple of things to think about in terms of savings. Hopefully you can think of a few more and the end result will be that you will have a good time when you go. The better you are with saving and planning now, the more you will have to spend later.
