Map Of London Tube

By Xander Bowes

As the capital city of England, London is a gigantic place. Miles and miles of streets play home to some of the most exciting and engaging facilities, attractions and places in the whole of the world. From the clanging chimes of Big Ben to the slow revolutions and breathtaking views of the London Eye, it is a nest of intrigue with an amazing amount of interesting places and things to do.

The tube is by far the best way to explore London. A tube map is therefore a vital navigational tool for everyone from first timers to frequent visitors who may forget their way. The map is a detailed guide which clearly shows how the underground network works. You will have information which will help you get anywhere you need to go and also the lines you need to take to get there.

With all of the congestion on the roads and the hustle and bustle of the streets, “going underground” (as The Jam said in 1980) is the only way to get around the city quickly and efficiently, allowing you to cover more of the places of interest and thus experience more of London’s rich culture and intrigue.

The tube has a total of 11 lines which connect all over the city. This gives you access to famous attractions and landmarks. The map of London Underground is available at all the stations. It shows the different lines you could take to get to places and also the connecting lines you could use. Getting your own copy of the tube map will be a lot easier than stopping multiple times to check your route.

Along with the benefits of how much of London the tube covers, there is the benefit of how frequently the tube trains run. It is unlikely that you will ever be forced to wait any longer than five minutes for a train to go by as they run at a very regular rate, ensuring that there is a minimum wait for those wanting to travel by tube and also a very slim chance of ever being late for an appointment, meeting or excursion due to the frequency.

The London tube system is also a low cost option. Ticket prices are based on how far, or which zones, you need to travel to and how many days you purchase your card for. The more days you purchase the better price per day. It is beneficial to plan out your vacation and purchase one ticket that can accommodate all your plans. The tickets simply feed into a reader and off you go. Be sure to pick up a London tubemap to help keep you on the right train for your destination.

The tube is therefore a great network and it provides the best transportation in London. Traveling on the tube is fast and efficient for everyone. The London tubemap is a great guide to get you anywhere you may need to go. Getting to some famous attractions, shopping paradises or tourist landmarks will be a chore without the London tube. It makes travelling simple and easy.

Luckily for visitors, going underground solves all of that!
