Here Is An Internet Marketing Tip

By Warren Wooden

Have you tried this internet marketing tip to build your online business? This tip in fact applies to all business, not just internet business, but many in the online world forget to apply it. The tip is that you need to build relationship with your customer.

You must create relationships with the men and women who go to your website. You need to create relationships with men and women who are on your email autoresponder list; you must create relationships with the men and women who go to your website to buy your services or your products. The reason you need to do this is so that your customers will think only of you when they need your product or service.

This is a new concept to many online marketers because they see the internet business and the internet in general as being impersonal. But it can be personal. And the more personal you can make it, the more success you will have.

For instance, do you have a photograph of yourself on your website? Do you have pictures of your family on your website? If not, these are some of the ways you can make your website more personal.

Your visitors will view you as a real person and not simply a business entity. You can build relationships by seeking your customer’s opinion or thoughts on a particular subject. Many online marketers talk one way to their customers and take no time to listen.

They spend all their time talking to their customers rather than talking with their customers. You can use surveys on your website or your blog and pose questions for your customers to respond. Let them know you are not only interested in only their money.

When you are seen as more than a vendor, which is the lowest level of relationship that you can have, you will be seen more and more as a friend. Anyone can be a vendor. But not everyone tries to be a friend.

You want to go for friend status and in some cases you want to reach business partner status. That is if you sell products or services that help customers build their own business.

You can build relationship through email marketing. You can make people on your email list feel special by sending offers available only to them, such as coupon codes they can enter on your site for a discount on product orders. You can put videos of yourself on your website so people feel like they know you; when you create the video, imagine you are speaking to one person so that when people see the video, they will think you are speaking to them individually.

Use teleseminars to create relationships. Have a teleseminar and once you are finished with your presentation, ask people to make comments. Open the phone line and let people respond to what you said. You have the opportunity to communicate with your customers voice to voice. This is only one of many ways to create relationship with your customers.
