Modern Age Of Advertising
People are partial to their drink’s temperature staying the same. If they’re sipping something hot they wish it to remain hot and the same applies for cold beverages. For this reason, many people make use of koozies. These were originally used to keep beer cold while at the same time making sure that the holder’s hand stays warm and dry. These days many people wish to have personalized koozies so custom koozies are a good source of income.
Said devices are from time to time called beer huggers or holders too. They became popular sometime during the 1980s and have since then become a part of just about every household. Usually created from neoprene, plastic or polyester, they are supposed to be capable of sustaining the temperature of the beverage through insulation until 40 minutes. They work in a similar manner to a thermos and comes in various color, shapes and sizes.
Koozies can be used just about anywhere from beer bottles, to coffee cups to soda cans. People may purchase them in distinctive designs for various containers from the housewares section of the mall. They too can be purchased from establishments which sell personalized koozies or people can opt to have custom koozies.
Generally though, they are given away as free gif by establishments so as to promote themselves. The ones which have been modified serve as a type of promotion for businesses. What these businesses do is they generally affix their logo on the device and them hand them out as freebies for their products or as prizes for draws and the likes. This is the best means for promotion for those who wish to do so discreetly or cant pay for ads on the radio or TV.
There are some people out there who believe that koozies are useless and are really just to draw attention, especially personalized koozies. But then again, it really depends on the person on whether they have high tolerance for heat or cold and whether having their beverage’s temperature stay constant is important to them or not. If people can handle their beverages being truly hot or truly cold and can consume it before there is drastic change in the temperature then they can live without it.
Though, if they can’t handle really cold or hot beverages for long and can’t imbibe it in record time before the temperature changes too much, then they should use this device. Custom koozies are a good way to advertise if the business needs only to reach a selected number of people and want to add a personal touch in the way they reach out to their consumers. For those however, with a big customer base, this can be not such a bright thought. These devices are useful for those who must have them but can’t really be for everybody.
