One Way Links – Naturally Attracts With Some Other SEO Elements

By Roxanne Herald

Reciprocal links are very common, but unfortunately they tend to not be as useful and rewarding as one way links. Imagine getting a better search engine ranking and increasing your traffic without having to link to someone else site. Of course you are in control, so you always have the option to, but for now let’s look at how to increase your one way links.

The most basic way to get one way links to point to your site is by giving people a reason to link there. To ensure people do have a reason to link to you, consider two very important elements of any web page, design and content. Provide a clean and easy to use interface, and couple that with quality and informative content and you’ll see people flock to link to your site. always update as much as possible to make sure it never goes stale.

Ask yourself, “Would I link to my site if I were someone else reading it?” Without some sort of reason to link to it, no one will. Luckily there are many things you can provide to get links and visitors flowing. From e-books, to informational articles, to instructional videos and/or Mp3 files, the sky is the limit here. Make sure to post copyright information so no one steals your content. Then sit back and watch your user base grow!

Again why would anyone post a link to you? Make them think, “Wow that site is so useful I absolutely have to link to it!” Remember to keep your quality in both your content and design as high as possible to keep more people linking to you. I can’t stress how important regular content updates are in doing this. Offer special incentives throughout the month to keep your page fresh and exciting!

Well that’s all for now from me, but your learning journey shouldn’t end. Check out the immense amount of information available on the web to continue finding new ways to attract one way links. There is a multitude of articles on the subject out there, and they accommodate every experience level. Never forget that no matter how good you become at getting new one way links, there is always room to improve, and always think about how the information you gather will be useful and relevant to your site.
