Google’s Precious SEO Algorithm To Stay Secret

By Lorselle Blanchard

Looking for some fun? Whatever you do, Don't Click Here!

Recently, some news surfaced regarding an audience done by Eric Schmidt, the CEO of Google, revealing that Schmidt is often frustrated by the number of inquiries he receives regarding the ranking algorithm Google uses. From the reports, the CEO was asked why Google does not show its list of 200 components in ranking.

Schmidt finally disclosed that the reason why the mega search engine refuses to announce its algorithm is because they have no concrete factor when they make their rankings. Due to the frequent development of technology, the company has to make numerous changes to its algorithm. As an expected result, they would rather not publish the process to the public because they do not want to deal with the scrutiny of the SEO community with every change they make.

It turns out that the company is quite worried about the possible abuse that the search engine optimization groups and online marketing community might venture into once they know the secret algorithm of the search engine. If Google released their algorithm, some of the online communities would go ballistic and find ways to make the most out of the published information. As soon as the algorithm is shared, some individuals who are up to no good may use and misuse the system.

As of the moment, those who are involved in SEO can do their best in analyzing the changes that Google makes with every update. It is a good thing that the company does not often make intensive alterations with every update. Though constant, the modifications are done step by step which allows newcomers to learn as they move on. It is proposed for those who are relatively raw to SEO to first undertake the basic concepts of SEO instead of going head to head with new algorithms.

As it is, SEO will remain intriguing not only for new users but also for experienced SEOs and SEO companies. It is then a sign of a good SEO company to be able to adapt to the ever changing Google algorithm and at the same time deliver results that are integral in the world of search engine optimization.
