Halloween Super Affiliate – Important Sites To Improve Your Search Engine Ranking

By Bryan Derisse

Search engines are among the most trafficked websites on the internet. The reason for this is obvious. The internet is primarily about information. People browse the web in order to look for relevant information. They depend on search engines to deliver them to the most relevant website on the internet for one particular keyword.

As for webmasters and internet marketer, search engine traffic means free promotion and advertising to them. Since Google and other search engine sites are popular among web users, they have the ability to send huge volume of traffic. Even better, people who found a website via search engine is highly targeted since they enter a search query.

You can also get lots of traffic if you use social medias like Facebook or Twitter wisely. The popularity of these websites is increasing lately. In fact, you might get even more traffic with Facebook compared to Google itself. However, the problem is, most of the Facebook traffic won’t convert into customers.

People browse Facebook with different mindset compared to buyers who search for discounts, or product reviews at Google. If you are into marketing for a while, you should understand that high buying mindset is the key to make real money.

The case is different with Google or Yahoo. People who are ready to buy would probably enter specific keywords in these search engines. So, you can expect to get lots of conversion with less time, money and effort involved. In order to get high ranking, you must first created a website with quality and relevant content to one particular keyword. Then, build several backlinks to your domain name.

One way to build backlinks is by submitting your RSS feed to several RSS directories. This includes Feed Age, Feedest, RSS Mountain and Technorati. However, your website or blog must have RSS feed first in order to do this.

There are lots of web 2.0 article sites like Blogger, WordPress, Squidoo, Hubpages and Tumblr. The number will continue to grow from time to another. Most marketers agree that Google loves these sites and it is a good source of quality backlinks.

In order to get lots of quality links from these sites, you need to register for a new account. Keep in mind that some of these services might send promotional emails to you from time to another, so it would be better not to use your primary email. You need to create lots of unique articles to post into these sites. If you are tired of writing, you can use article spinner software.

Social bookmarking sites like Digg, Delicious and Stumble Upon is one source of backlinks these days. You can simply submit your website to these social bookmarking sites and get backlinks. However, keep in mind that must not submit the same website twice under one account. Otherwise, you will be regarded as spammer and your account might be deleted.

Another method that you can use to generate strong backlinks is by posting content to other blogs. There are tonnes of blogs which accept content from other webmasters. You can either contact the webmasters himself or join a link building network to post such content.
