SEO Vs. Adwords And Everything In Between
By Andy Gee
SEO involves getting a ton of business through google natural placement or your favorite search engine. I got off adwords when I found out how easy SEO is. I didn’t know this at all prior to working through it. Did know you people stopped clicking our Google listing? It was so annoying! I wasting so much time and money in terms of management and fees and I didn’t really get a good ROI. Google also has some new thing going. Apparently now if you don’t pay per click as the number 1 source, you will get covered by the google map. I hate this whole thing. Google loves to keep changing everything when they get a chance and this gets extremely frustrating! I hate it.
After paying tons of money in terms of management fees to my marketing agency, I finally got “wised up.” Adwords is not for everyone and its definitely not for my real estate development company. We rely on 10s of local clicks that will buy multi-hundred thousand dollar transactions. No one buys a house right away but we’d like to increase our traffic to make sure that the click rate is high and we are getting the maximum visitors that we possibly can.
The second step is to actually to convert this traffic. We need to develop a proper site to help us with this. Our SEO strategy has been very successful so I am looking forward to developing more skills in this regard. I also am hoping that my current SEO marketing agency can help us get into website design. By that I mean, do this as a “hand-off” project. I want to take this over. Hopefully we will be successful. I am looking at hiring a conversion specialist to help us convert our site very quickly.
The final step is to actually put realtors face to face with these visitors. If SEO sends us more qualified traffic, our job for selling the home will be much easier. This is what I am hoping. Let’s see how it works out. Using current design pricing, I think it is pretty expensive and that’s why I am hoping my SEO company can cut me a deal.
We already fired our adwords management company so I don’t think we will ever go back to it. The real thing to do now is to focus on SEO and grow that part of the business so big that we don’t need anything else. SEO will help us because this will cut down the time our sales people need to spend with our prospects. I hope it all it works out.
I really hope you like small business seo as much as I think you do! I really think it will work for anyone’s business. The thing that you should do now is decide what you want to do. Do you really need small business seo? I wish you the best of luck!. Check here for free reprint license: SEO Vs. Adwords And Everything In Between.
