There is just no way around it, every woman loves the engagement ring surprise. In fact, it is common for women to dream for many years about the moment that they will get an engagement ring. Giving an engagement ring makes for a great opportunity to create a lasting memory. This day will be discussed and referenced for years and years to come!
Factor in Personality – It is important to keep in mind a woman’s personality when you are planning your engagement ring surprise. If she is very shy, for example, you might not want to have her face plastered all over a giant screen at a baseball game. Many women will love such a gesture, but that level of intense attention will horrify some women. If you are dating a shy woman, you might want to consider a calmer more subdued approach.
Location – When devising your engagement ring surprise, the old real-estate saying, “location-location-location”, comes to mind. There is no doubt that location is a critical element in making for a memorable engagement ring surprise. For example, proposing in your sweat pants in your kitchen will probably not make for the greatest of long-term memories.
A Marriage Proposal is Not Just About the Ring! – In the end, finding the perfect ring is only one aspect of the perfect marriage proposal. Where you ask your future bride to marry you is also an extremely important factor. If you ask her to marry you in what most people would consider to be a less than romantic location, then you better have a very good reason for doing so.
The Ring is Critical But There Is More to Your Proposal – Hopefully, you spent a good deal of time and thought picking out the perfect ring. Your selection of a ring should reflect the fact that you’ve invested your time as well as your money. Where you ask your future bride to marry you may be just as important as how you ask. But don’t make the mistake that many men frequently make. If you wait too long before popping the question, she may already be gone.
