Can I Really Astral Project?
There are millions of people who believe that astral projection is real and that anyone can, and have, achieved this altered state. Achieving an altered state of consciousness is the next level of astral projection. Consistantly breathing deeply and slowly to keep your mind clear and stay relaxed is the goal at this state. Breathing in through the nose and out of the mouth helps to slow and deepen breathing.
Starting from your toes, work upwards, relaxing every part of your body as you proceed. You can do this by either tensing then relaxing each part of your body or by moving up, visualizing each part of you relaxing as you go.
At this point, you will start to feel heavy almost as if energy is leaving your body. As you get to this point, and you are completely relaxed, you will know that it is time to move on to the next step of astral projection.
The next step, sleep. You have prepared your mind and body for s deep sleep, but remember to stay alert and relaxed. Come up with your own phrase such as ‘I fly, I fly’ there is no wrong motto, so find one that you are comfortable with.
When the human mind is unoccupied, it will tend to wander; this will ruin the concentration you need to astral project. Just keep repeating your phrase to yourself and taking slow, deep breaths.
Reaching an altered state of consciousness requires several steps. Repeating your motto repeatedly can help you reach the next level. The body of light technique is where you focus on a body of light in your mind and see yourself transforming into this light.
As you start to astral project, there are three signs which you can watch for to know that you are doing so successfully. The first is a sensation of motion, even though your physical body is perfectly still. The second is ‘seeing’ color and light, even though your eyes will be closed. Last, youll hear voices. These voices will either be urging you to continue or to stop ” this is a sure fire sign that you are on your way to astral projecting.
